We are looking for an experienced Glazier to undertake glass installation, repairs and maintenance across residential and commercial buildings. The role includes work at height, with an opportunity to develop rope access skills and work alongside our specialist access teams

The role

Measuring and assessing installation areas, interpreting drawings and determining glass and aluminium requirements.

Installing, replacing and repairing framed and frameless glass, windows, doors and associated fittings.

Installing and maintaining skylights, including fitting glass, frames, seals and weatherproofing components.

Fabricating, fitting and adjusting aluminium frames and associated components.

Installing and servicing sliding doors, including tracks, rollers, hardware and automated operating systems.

Identifying faults, alignment issues, damaged components and water ingress, and completing appropriate repairs.

aring surfaces and applying glazing seals and sealants to achieve secure, weatherproof finishes.

Undertaking glazing and exterior maintenance using rope access methods once appropriately trained, certified and assessed as competent.

Following site safety plans, completing pre-start checks and maintaining exclusion zones.

Recording measurements, materials, completed work and site photographs, and communicating progress to the supervisor. ts.

What you’ll bring

At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in glazing installation, repair and maintenance.

Ability to measure accurately, interpret drawings and safely use glazing tools and equipment.

Practical knowledge of glass handling, framing, fixings, seals and finishing.

Must hold a current abseil / rope access qualification including IRATA or IRAANZ certification; SPRAT, NZQA or other internationally recognised abseil qualification.

Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 60.0 per week
