Job Description
Roster: 8:6 (Residential to GoldFields only)

The Gold Room Technician controls, monitors and maintains the process equipment used in the gold circuit at the Binduli North Heap Leach Project.

Duties
Carry out all the Elution and Gold room operations, including Elution circuits, regeneration of Carbon, Cropping and smelting.
Troubleshooting all gold room processes.
Identifying and managing risks to the Gold Room Elution area.
Secure Gold Room assets from misuse/theft, encompassing gold and equipment.
Implementing and maintaining systems and procedures for effective management of Gold Room operations including reporting.
Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining service logs and internal service records on time.
Complete end-of-month reporting on all gold poured.
Carry out sufficient strips to keep GIC at a constant level.
Train other personnel as required.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
Daily inspections of work area.
Any other duties as required.
Skills and Experience
Current unrestricted "C" Class WA Manual Drivers Licence
Senior First Aid Certificate is desirable
Fork lift licence
Knowledge of gold processing
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Intermediate computer literacy with MS Word & MS Excel
Basic report writing skills
Sound verbal & written communication skills
