Groundworker (Experienced)

Location: Sligo

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker to join our construction team in Sligo. This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable and skilled candidate with solid experience in residential and general construction works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of groundworks activities safely and efficiently, working both independently and as part of a wider site team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out general groundworks in accordance with project requirements and site instructions.

Kerbing, concrete footpaths, ducting & drainage.

Follow instructions provided by site management.

Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.

Adhere to safe operating procedures and site health and safety requirements.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised condition.

Ability to work on own initiative and complete tasks efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have

Minimum 4 years’ construction/groundworks experience.
Valid Safe Pass.
Valid Manual Handling Certificate..
Good communication skills.
Right to work in Ireland required.
Employment Details
Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Work Location: Sligo, Ireland
Schedule: 8.5-hour shift, Monday to Friday
Weekend availability: May be required
Experience: Construction/Groundworks – 4 years preferred
PAYE & RCT options available
* Rates: Depending on candidate experience and suitability

Work Location: In person
