About the role
The Guest Experience Manager & Marketing Coordinator is a varied, year-round role that combines delivering outstanding service to our guests with marketing at Porters Alpine Resort. Your focus will shift with the seasons: through spring and summer you'll balance marketing support, product development and customer service, with a focus on pre-season pass and lesson package sales and dealing with general enquiries (including marketing support for Porters Lodge); in autumn you'll lead recruitment and training for the guest services team while driving pre-season marketing and sales; and once the lifts start turning in winter, you'll keep the ticket office running smoothly, create content that grows the Porters brand, look after customers, and keep developing products that support the business.
This role is for someone who genuinely connects with our customers – who can sell the stoke of a Porters powder day as naturally as they can plan a social media campaign or run a busy ticket office.
Key responsibilities
Balance marketing support, product development and customer service through spring and summer
Focus on pre-season pass and lesson package sales and general enquiries
Provide marketing support for Porters Lodge
Lead recruitment and training for the guest services team in autumn
Drive pre-season marketing and sales
Keep the ticket office running smoothly in winter

About you
A genuine winter sports enthusiast with a good understanding of the ski and snowboard industry and the market Porters operates in
Enthusiasm, drive and an authentic affinity with winter sports enthusiasts
Marketing experience, with a particular focus on social media channels
Guest services or customer-facing experience is a bonus
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting to the rhythm of a ski area's seasons
