- You must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- The ability to provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment
- Strong focus on food safety compliance
- Exceptional customer service standards
- Ability to engage with local community
- Well-rounded experience within bar/pub industry
- Flexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venue is open 7 days a weekWhat will your job duties include?
- Plan and develop menus that are in line with venue standards
- Ensuring accurate food and labour costs, ordering food supplies, managing deliveries and processing invoices
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Ensuring effective collaboration and communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams in regard to food preparation, standards and practices
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking methods
- Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations and practices including managing kitchen log books, cleaning schedules and temperature log books
- Selecting and training new staff, ensuring they are being trained to a high standard and familiarising them with kitchen processes
- Build a high performance team and lead a productive kitchen culture
- Working professionally in a fast paced environment
