• Are you someone who is interested and passionate about working with those with challenging behaviour and the most vulnerable of students?
• Maybe you have heaps of experience managing challenging behaviour and wish to support pupils who need it most in a mainstream setting?
• To join Aspire People and be successful in this Head of Year role you will need to:
• \*Have experience working with young people with difficult behaviour
• \*Strong behaviour management techniques and strategies
• \*Have a passion for working and supporting learning
• \*Resilient and patient attitude
• \*Fair but firm approach
• \*Hold a degree - not essential
• \*Previous been a Head of Year or in a Pastoral role

The role

• \*Manage a year group in a mainstream setting
• \*Ensure behaviour and attendance is managed
• \*Ensure academic progress is made
• \*Laise with class teachers, other head of years and parents
