Job Description

Job Introduction

Are you a compassionate Healthcare Assistant looking to make a real difference in your local community?

We are looking for a motivated and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our Community Nursing Team based at Sheppey Community Hospital.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll support Community Nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients in their own homes and community clinic settings across the Isle of Sheppey and surrounding areas.

You'll work with patients who have a wide range of healthcare needs, helping them maintain their independence, manage long-term conditions and receive care in the comfort of their own homes whenever possible. Every day is different, offering the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while developing your clinical skills within a supportive community environment.

Our teams are equipped with modern mobile technology, enabling you to access patient information and complete documentation remotely, helping you spend more time delivering care and less time travelling back to base.

Whether you're looking to develop your healthcare career or bring your existing experience into a community setting, you'll be supported through ongoing training, development opportunities and a welcoming multidisciplinary team.
