Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker

We are currently recruiting a compassionate, reliable and professional Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Ireland.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and daily living activities.
• Assist with meals and hydration where required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow individual care plans and report any changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Follow infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Treat all clients with dignity, respect and confidentiality.
• Work effectively with nurses, carers, families and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification, or equivalent
• Previous experience in healthcare, elderly care, disability care or home care is preferred
• Good spoken and written English.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work [days / evenings / weekends / nights].
• Garda Vetting will be required.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship)
