We’re a friendly, CQC-registered care provider helping customers in and around Chippenham live safely, happily and independently in their own homes. We’re growing our team and looking for caring people who’d enjoy working across both home care and live-in care.

Home care: out and about in the community

As a home care worker, you’ll visit customers in Chippenham and the nearby villages. Visits range from a quick check-in to longer calls. You might:

Help someone start their day with a wash, getting dressed and breakfast

Support customers with their medication at the right times

Prepare meals and drinks, and make sure they’re eating and drinking well

Help with continence care, skin care and moving safely around the home

Do light household tasks so their home stays comfortable

Have a proper chat, because sometimes you’re the friendly face they look forward to most

You’ll have a planned rota of visits, with mileage paid between calls.

Live-in care: making a real difference, round the clock

Live-in care means staying in a customer’s home and supporting them day to day. It’s a chance to get to know one person really well and help them stay in the place they love. You might:

Provide personal care throughout the day and help settle them at night

Manage medication, meals and household routines

Support them with hobbies, outings, appointments and keeping in touch with family

Offer companionship and reassurance, especially for customers living with dementia or complex needs

Work alongside district nurses, GPs and family members

Live-in placements are typically [e.g. 1–2 weeks at a time], with your own room provided and agreed breaks every day. Our office and on-call team are always just a phone call away.

Training: we’ll set you up to succeed

New to care? Brilliant. Experienced? Even better. Either way, we’ll invest in you:

Paid induction and the Care Certificate, the national standard for new carers

Shadow shifts with experienced colleagues before you work on your own

Hands-on training from qualified in-house trainers in:

Medication administration

Moving and handling, including hoists

First aid and basic life support

Safeguarding, infection control, dementia awareness, mental capacity and the Oliver McGowan training on learning disability and autism

Specialist training for more complex care, such as catheter and stoma care, when needed

Support to gain Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Adult Care as you grow your career

Regular supervisions and spot checks to support you and celebrate your progress

You’ll need:

To live in or around Chippenham, Wiltshire

A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential!)

To be happy working both home care and live-in care

Kindness, patience and respect for people’s dignity and choices

Reliability and good communication skills

An enhanced DBS check, which [we can arrange / we fund]
