Homecare Support Worker – Elderly woman with Spinal injury

We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to join a small care team assisting a kind-hearted elderly woman living with a spinal cord injury. She is deeply committed to her rehabilitation journey and leads an engaged, family-oriented life. Her days are filled with Physiotherapy, community outings, cooking, baking and cherished time with her children and grandchildren.
Shifts available; Friday 7am-2pm & 7:30pm-9pm Saturday 7am-10am & 7:30pm-9pm Sunday 7:30pm-9pm
What You'll Be Doing:
Deliver compassionate support tailored to a client living with a spinal cord injury
Help with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
Keep things running smoothly at home, support our client in the kitchen with meals and baking
Who We're Looking For:
Energetic and proactive attitude—ready to jump in and make things happen
Experience in disability or health support (bonus if you’ve worked with complex needs)
NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent)
Full NZ Driver’s License is essential as you will be responsible for transporting the client
Clear police vetting and legal right to work in NZ
