About the roles

• Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll lead from the front, support your team and keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Lead busy services and deliver great guest experiences
• Coach and develop team members
• Support rostering, stock management and cash handling
• Support gaming operations and responsible gambling practices
• Maintain high standards of presentation, safety and compliance
• Help drive sales, control costs and achieve venue targets
• Build relationships with regulars and support local events and promotions
• Assistant Venue Managers will take on broader responsibility for team development and business performance, while Duty Managers will oversee shifts and support service across the venue.

About you

• Experience in pub operations or hospitality leadership
• A hands-on approach and confidence leading a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• An understanding of operational standards and cost control
• Gaming experience would be highly regarded, but a willingness to learn is equally welcomed
• Relevant Queensland hospitality and gaming qualifications, or willingness to obtain the qualifications required for your role
• Availability across nights, weekends and public holidays
