About the Role

Be the driving force behind a safer, stronger, and more sustainable workplace. As a key member of our team, you’ll partner with operational leaders to champion Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence across the business. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide expert advice, proactive support, and hands-on guidance to our Business Units, helping to embed a high-performance safety culture and ensure best-practice compliance. Through monitoring, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives, you’ll play a vital role in protecting our people, enhancing operational performance, and driving positive environmental outcomes.

The successful candidate will work on key responsibilities like

•    Champion Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) excellence, fostering a strong safety culture and effective worker participation across the Business Unit.

•    Identify, manage and mitigate operational HSE risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory, client and company requirements.

•    Partner with managers, supervisors and key stakeholders to implement HSE systems, strategies, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

•    Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, safety communications and lessons learned to drive ongoing performance improvements.

•    Monitor compliance, audits, contractor management, training records and HSE reporting to ensure accurate and effective governance.

•    Provide expert advice and support during HSE events, emergency situations and regulatory reporting requirements.

•    Promote innovation, best practice and proactive risk management to protect people, the environment and the business.

Qualifications and Skills

•    Qualification in Health, Safety & Environment (or equivalent) preferred

•    Engineering or Trade qualification advantageous

•    Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and its practical application

•    Understanding of operational or technical environments, with industry experience an advantage

•    HSE investigation experience or training preferred

•    Environmental compliance knowledge preferred

•    Audit training or experience advantageous

•    Be comfortable presenting in front of groups
