About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HVAC Ducting Foreman to lead site installation operations for a key project based in Tauranga.
In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day site installation activities, ensure ducting projects run smoothly, on schedule, and safely, manage site team workflows, and maintain high standards of installation quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise site installation crews and subcontractors.
Manage daily site schedules, task allocation, and progress tracking to meet project milestones.
Maintain strict quality control, compliance with mechanical specifications, and site health & safety standards.
Coordinate material deliveries, site access, and equipment requirements with project managers and main contractors.
Attend site meetings, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all work adheres to NZ building standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven background and hands-on experience in commercial HVAC duct installation (sheet metal, spiral, flexible ducting, and ventilation systems).
Proven experience in a Site Foreman, Leading Hand, or Supervisory role within the mechanical trade is essential.
Strong working knowledge of site health and safety practices (Site Safe / ConstructSafe preferred).
Excellent leadership, clear communication, and site organization skills.
Valid driver’s licence and relevant trade tickets (e.g., Working at Heights, EWP).
