ICHD AmeriCorps Public Health Program
In 2026, the ICHD AmeriCorps Public Health program is offering member positions within the Ingham County Health Department and with partner organizations in the Capital region to address 4 key areas of public health: fostering public health equity, expanding access to healthcare and social services, improving the built environment (with an emphasis on food and housing security), and developing the public health workforce. The Ingham County Health Department boasts nearly 20 years of institutional experience administering AmeriCorps programs in the region. Position responsibilities vary based on host site and position.
