- (Internal Title: Scheduling IV)
+ Responsible for implementing and managing the standard, goals, policies, etc. for the project or program
+ Schedule the planning, development, and maintenance of the project Master schedule to meet the project objectives and schedule basis
+ Develop, analyze, and manage the progress measurement, earned value, performance data, schedule reporting, schedule change implementation, and develop and maintain the schedule management plan
+ Prepare and entrench scheduling and planning procedures and work instructions for the contractors and project team
+ Formulate and maintain the basis of schedule for each baseline, and the baseline curves including progress and manpower, generate all progress curves including planned, actual, and forecasted
+ Liaise with risk to develop a summary schedule suitable for quantitative schedule risk analysis, interpret the Monte Carlo risk analysis process, and contribute to the risk mitigation plan
+ Generate and verify monthly updates, issue progress reports, progress schedules, and dashboards, monitor slippages and critical and near critical activities
+ Provide schedule input to the procurement bid process including reporting requirements and milestone dates. Conduct bid evaluation and ongoing management of consultants, vendors, and contractors
+ Maintain and optimize the schedule through change management procedures, monitor progress, and resolve areas of potential concern. Review and assess schedule impacts due to changes or claims
+ Analyze and monitor schedule variances, floats, trends, and KPIs
+ Manage schedule changes and forecast project impact. Implement corrective action when performance trends deviate from the baseline
+ Perform audits on various schedules including those produced by contractors, and prepare all required output documents
+ Review project scope changes, claims for schedule and cost impact, and provide feedback to financial and contract management staff
+ Create and implement key scheduling requirements such as activity coding, naming conventions, client requirements management protocol, project calendars, and resource and plant data libraries
+ Review the baseline schedule and assess the compliance of the schedule with the project agreement and best practices
+ Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules, produce recommendations for improvement, and analyze schedule delays. Review and assess the extension of time claims
+ Identify commercial and schedule risks and develop mitigation measures to ensure timely and high-quality planning and scheduling-related deliverables
+ Actively participate in the mentoring and hiring process by interviewing and selecting the best-aligned staff for the company and team including the Project Planning and Scheduling team
+ Develop the vision for the consulting services provided in scheduling for the project or program while delegating and managing deliverables with consulting team members
+ Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned and an overall ‘right-first-time” mindset
+ Clarify acceptable standards of workmanship through every stage of the work
+ Create a high-performing culture open to constructive challenges and seeking continual improvement
+ Monitor and manage scheduling staff performance (including non-Accenture I&CP resources on the project or program to ensure excellence in results. Ensure teams are clear and focused on performance objectives

+ Complete any tasks assigned by the manager or higher in an efficient and timely manner
- Working Conditions
+ **Office-based - The work location for this role will be onsite at a client site five (5) days a week.**
+ With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs
- Minimum of 12 years of Planning and Scheduling experience in large projects or programs
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Holding recognized certifications including PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP
- Oracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an asset
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management and Scheduling methods
- Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Power Query
- Proficient in Primavera P6
- Competent in Navisworks, Synchro, Power BI and TILOS is an asset
- Expert understanding of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects
- Inclined to maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.

Ontario $120,000 to $145,000
