At Atlantach we offer our apprentices the opportunity to work in a wide range of industries. We have a pipeline of exciting projects across the business.

You will complete a 4-year apprenticeship, Phase 1 right through to Phase 7, supported through a structured in-house development programme, a range of classroom based practical workshops and virtual learning with SOLAS to ensure you to attain the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve your apprenticeship.

Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship, you will be appointed a workplace mentor in Atlantach to support you with your learning.

As an apprentice there will be a requirement to travel. The role will be predominantly based in Co Kildare to start

What we expect of you:

To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development.

Attend college and complete course work on time and to a high standard.

Assist & liaise with Managers/Supervisors on relevant work activity.

Apply lean principles and techniques to help and contribute to your team delivering and exceeding our KPI targets.

Understanding and applying the instrumentation principles

Ensure compliance relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain zero harm environment and culture.

Ensure that buildings are tested to the required standards where necessary – under supervision.

To support on supplementary process-based tasks where required, that may not be directly electrical related.

Carry out your duties to meet Atlantach Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Flexibility to travel nationwide

Authority:

You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.

Requirements:

Pass Leaving Cert (or equivalent) desirable

The ability to follow procedures and policies and manage your time effectively

Good planning/organisational skills.

A highly motivated problem solver

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Safety conscious
