Integration Developer - API & Cloud (GCP / Apigee)

In a context of digital transformation and service-oriented architecture, the Integration Developer contributes to the design and implementation of robust, secure, and high-performance integration solutions.

Working within an Agile team, the Integration Developer actively participates in the development of APIs and microservices that enable efficient interconnection between systems, platforms, and critical applications. The role requires strong technical rigor, a quality-focused approach, and a solid understanding of operational requirements.

**Your future duties and responsibilities**

• Design and develop integration services, APIs, and microservices aligned with established architecture standards.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of developed solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the team’s continuous improvement.
• Write technical specifications and documentation related to APIs and microservices.
• Perform code reviews and apply development best practices.
• Define, develop, and execute unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate during various testing phases (integration, system, validation).
• Prepare deployment deliverables and support production releases.
• Integrate logging, monitoring, and operational standards into development activities.

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role**

• Must reside in the province of Quebec.
• Must be comfortable speaking English.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in NodeJS development.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Jira, Jira Xray, and Postman.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.

Assets

• French language skills are considered an asset.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $135,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
