Interconnection Project Coordinator, Megapack Energy

Join Tesla Energy’s fast-paced Sales Engineering team as an Interconnection Project Coordinator, supporting utility-scale battery storage projects across Australia.

Full-time role based in Melbourne or Sydney.

**What You'll Do**

• Act as the primary point of contact for grid connection in Australia, managing relationships and communication with customers, consultants, network service providers, operators, and internal teams.
• Coordinate timely submission of interconnection studies and documentation; autonomously manage records and adapt to changing requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; track progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Facilitate coordination between Tesla policy and technical teams on National Electricity Rules (NER) developments and reforms.

**What You'll Bring**

• 3+ years in project coordination and process administration; proven success in unstructured, fast-paced environments (energy/renewables experience preferred but not required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of the energy sector, National Electricity Market (NEM), grid connection processes, and renewables; ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Proven project planning skills: scheduling, budgeting, milestone tracking, and delivering outcomes in complex settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
