Intern Position - EIA and Water
Job Description
SLR is a global leader in sustainability solutions, working with clients to help make sustainability happen, within a collaborative, people-first culture. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team in Ireland, part of a European network of 80 water specialists spanning hydrogeology, hydrology, geochemistry, flood risk and drainage.
The team work on quarrying and renewable energy projects, whilst expanding our presence in key growth areas including renewables, mining and mine water management, hydrogeological assessments, water abstraction licensing, EPA licensing, infrastructure and the built environment;
As an intern
Duties and responsibilities would include
- Assisting SLR Dublin Water team with EIA work, reporting, licencing and permitting as well as field assistant;
- Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) Water and Land, Soils and Geology chapters;
- Water Framework Directive Assessments;
- It is desirable that applicants have some experience of using GIS software and groundwater data loggers
- Please note this position is to support degree studies and is not suitable for anyone who has already graduated.
