Inwards Goods Team Member - Te Anau

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised team member to join our Te Anau branch. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing inventory and maintaining stock levels, while also providing support across our Yard & Drive Thru operations.
Key responsibilities include
Using internal systems and digital tools to accurately track, process, and record daily deliveries
Managing special orders and ensuring clear, timely communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Receiving and checking incoming stock, investigating discrepancies, and resolving out-of-stock items efficiently
Processing product returns, repairs, and warranty claims, while following up to ensure successful outcomes
Delivering outstanding customer service to our trade, business, and homeowner customers, creating a positive experience with every interaction
Supporting the wider branch team as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday with rosters Saturdays.
About you:
You're a proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys learning new skills, asking questions, and finding solutions. You take pride in your work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.
Experience in inventory management, stock control, or inwards goods, ideally within a retail, trade, or distribution environment
Strong computer literacy and numerical skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Excellent attention to detail and a natural ability to solve problems
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative and high-performing team
