**General Summary:**

This position involves driving the IOMMU Architecture and IP roadmap, working closely with the SW and HW design teams to optimize the IP micro-architecture and performance. As Architect, you will work with other System and IPs technology Architects, across Product Segments and OS 'es, to identify and track requirements and contribute to the development of Advanced HW Virtualization and Security solutions.

**Responsibilities**

• Define and review IOMMU architectures (ARM, RISC-V) and micro ‑ architectural features, with a focus on performance, scalability and compliance.
• Contribute to the definition and deployment of HW-virtualization services and solutions
• Lead cross ‑ functional collaboration between HW, SW, Architecture, Design, and Product teams to ensure cohesive hardware/software co ‑ design
• Act as a technical authority, setting direction and driving innovation.

**Minimum Qualifications**

• Deep expertise in IOMMU architecture and micro ‑ architecture.
• Strong knowledge of ARM, RISC-V, PCIe, virtualization, and security concepts.
• Solid understanding of system software, including operating systems, hypervisors and interactions with hardware.
• Proven experience working across HW/SW boundaries and influencing architecture at a platform or product level.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly

**Minimum Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

**Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:**

$192,000.00 - $288,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
