To support a critical federal contract, the remote Journeyman Security Controls Assessor will execute security control assessments, compliance verifications, and evaluations of organizational information systems while collaborating with the cybersecurity assurance team.

##### Key responsibilities

Conduct security control assessments using various methods to verify compliance with established frameworks

Document testing results and present assessment findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity in non-compliant areas

Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and contribute to the development of enterprise information security policies and standards

##### Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience

Security+ certification or higher

6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT auditing

Hands-on experience performing security controls assessments of systems of moderate complexity

U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a background investigation and obtain DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD)
