Kitchen Assistant
Ohinemuri Lifecare, Paeroa | 49 hours per fortnight, worked according to a two-week rotating roste.
Ohinemuri Lifecare in 24 Keepa Avenue | Paeroa 3600, part of the New Zealand Aged Care Services (NZACS) group, is looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our Cook in preparing and serving meals for our residents.
About the role
Assist with food preparation, plating, and serving meals in line with menus and dietary requirements.
Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment, and keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
Support stock rotation, storage, and basic ordering tasks.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
Assist with setting up and clearing dining areas as needed.
About you
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential.
A hardworking, reliable attitude and willingness to learn.
Comfortable working as part of a small, busy team.
