Kitchen Hand – Beau Deli

Monday–Friday | Daytime role

Beau Deli is looking for a kitchen hand who actually cares about doing a good job.

This isn’t a role for someone looking to cruise through a shift. We’re after someone who works hard, moves with purpose, keeps things clean and organised, and takes pride in being a reliable part of the kitchen.

You don’t need years of kitchen experience. What matters more is your attitude. You might already love food and cooking, or maybe you’re thinking about becoming a chef and want to get your foot in the door in a proper kitchen.

The role will include dishes, cleaning, keeping the kitchen organised, receiving and putting away deliveries, basic food prep and helping the chefs wherever needed. As you become more confident, there’ll be opportunities to learn more prep and kitchen skills.

We’re looking for someone who

Works hard and doesn’t need to be constantly pushed

Notices what needs doing and gets onto it

Takes pride in keeping their section clean and organised

Is reliable and turns up ready to work

Can handle a busy kitchen without disappearing when it gets tough

Is interested in food, cooking and learning

* Works well as part of a small team

This could be a great role for an aspiring chef who wants to learn from the ground up. We’re happy to teach someone with the right attitude.

You’ll also get proper staff meals and good coffee while you’re on shift.

Hours: Monday–Friday

Location: Beau Deli, Auckland
