Landscape Quantity Surveyor

and industrial sectors through partnerships with construction and civil contractors and directly with developers. Our presence extends from Auckland across the North Island,

focused on delivering high-quality outdoor environments to a professional standard desirable to regular clients in the Construction space.

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to work within the Commercial function with a minimum of 5-8 years relevant experience pricing and monitoring budgetary and profitability performance across a wide and diverse range of commercial outdoor hard landscaping projects. The role will also directly support business development activity to enhance our Commercial presence in target markets, champion our CRM, sales, and lead conversion tools and processes to support the General & Senior Commercial Manager to drive the growth in the Group’s business pipeline.

The candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the materials and labour requirements used in the hardscape area of construction and have experience of working in a similar trades and construction business operating in the B2B space. The successful candidate will also have proficiency in software tools for construction management, pricing models, quantity take off, job and cost management and CRM as well as core Google & Microsoft platforms. The role requires both deep analytical skills specifically as a QS, experience in the hard landscaping and trades sector. They will have critical thinking and learning agility as well as sales, client engagement and lead conversion skills, the ability to work under pressure and effective interpersonal skills. There is scope for a part-time position if this suits the candidate although the role is intended to be full time - 40 hours per week.
