Job Description Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Laundry Associate to support the daily laundry and clothing needs of the department. This position is responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of clean clothing, properly sorting and processing department and farm contract clothing, and ensuring employee lockers and work areas are maintained in a clean and organized condition.Job Description:
- Maintain a determined supply of clothing for department
- Wash and sort all department clothing
- Wash and sort farm contract clothing
- Discard torn clothing and replace it with new clothing as needed
- Stock employee lockers with appropriate clothing
- Sweep, mop, and disinfect crew areas during wash cycles
- Dry and fold clothing as needed
- Other duties as determined by manager
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work well alone and in teams
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
