Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled

Core Java Developer

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using Core Java and related technologies.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k - CAD$115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex UI applications using

Angular (v10+)

.

• Define front-end architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Review code, conduct technical audits, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Development & Engineering

• Build responsive, adaptive, and high‑performance web applications.
• Develop reusable components, modules, and libraries.
• Integrate UI with RESTful APIs and microservices-based backends.
• Optimize for speed, scalability, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.

Collaboration

• Partner with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into high-quality UI.
• Work with backend, DevOps, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders and team members.

Team Management

• Mentor and guide junior developers.
• Conduct technical training sessions and onboard new developers.
• Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 10-12+ years experience in Angular (v10+), TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design frameworks.
• Experience with

RxJS, NgRx, Angular Material

, and component-based architecture.

• Hands-on experience consuming

RESTful APIs

and working with JSON.

• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with

Unit Testing (Jasmine, Karma), CI/CD

, and version control (Git).

• Knowledge of UI security & best practices (XSS, CSRF protection, etc.).
