Live-In Support Worker

Overview

As a Live-In Support Worker, you will provide attentive, respectful support in a person’s home, helping them maintain comfort, dignity and as much independence as possible. You will build a trusting relationship, follow agreed care and support routines and communicate changes clearly. Your impact: thoughtful daily support helps the person feel safer and more at ease, while giving their family and management team clearer insight into their wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living, adapting your approach to the person’s preferences and abilities, in a Supported Living setting

Support meal preparation, mobility and medication routines in line with agreed instructions; and seek assistance when needed.

Offer calm, consistent support with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, learning disability or mental health challenges and report concerns promptly.

Working within a wider supportive team and under attentive management

Keep clear care records and work respectfully with families and other care professionals.

Experience

Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, clear communication and the ability to support personal care, meals and safe daily routines. Preferred: Experience in Supported Living contexts working with people living with various diagnoses, care, first aid, and medication administration.

Pay: £700.00 per week
