Salary: USP - Support - Grade 3 scp 4 - 6 (FTE £26,016 - £26,846 / Actual - £11,729 - £12,103 per annum)

Contract Type: Part time (19.95 hours per week / 38 weeks per year),

Burton End Primary Academy opened a new Reception and Key Stage One specialist SEND unit in September 2020.

The SEND Hub provides a multi-sensory bespoke curriculum for children with a range of special educational needs. When appropriate, the children will be encouraged to join whole school activities as well as learning in the classroom.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who will be committed to working alongside an experienced Lead Teacher to help support the diverse range of needs.

Applicants would ideally have achieved at least a level 3 childcare qualification or similar, a GCSE equivalent in English and Maths, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have previous experience of working with children with special educational needs.
