Manager

**Responsibilities**

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales management, cash handling, and customer service excellence
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills in retail sales, POS systems, merchandising, and customer engagement
• Manage inventory levels through effective stock management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control procedures
• Oversee scheduling, shift management, and ensure efficient store coverage to meet sales targets
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative team environment
• Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records

**Requirements**

• Proven management experience in retail or similar environment with supervising responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and training & development
• Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, and store financials
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, inventory management software, and retail marketing techniques
• Ability to lead teams with confidence while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation
• Experience with grocery or general retail stores is preferred but not required
