Job Description

Lashan Digital are seeking a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice. You will help reach housing, social care and retail leaders across web, LinkedIn, email, events and search.

Much of what we do is technical. Your job is to turn it into clear, well-written content and visuals that busy readers can take in quickly: a case study, a one-page explainer, a diagram, a short post. Strong written English and a good eye for design matter more here than prior marketing experience. You will work closely with the founder, the sales lead and our product and delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

Writing and editing: Write and edit content for the website, LinkedIn, email newsletters, case studies, bid documents and event materials. Turn technical material from our architects and engineers into plain English for non-technical readers. Proofread everything that goes out, keeping spelling, grammar and tone consistent with the LASHAN brand

Visual content: Turn written content into infographics, diagrams, one-page summaries, slide decks and short videos that are easy to read. Keep a consistent visual style across all channels, using brand templates and design tools such as Canva. Maintain a library of reusable assets, including images, icons, templates and case study layouts

Channels and campaigns: Plan and run a content calendar across web, LinkedIn, email and events. Support campaigns from planning through to delivery, including product launches, bids and thought leadership. Update website content through our content management system and apply basic SEO. Support event attendance and webinars, including invitations, materials and follow-up

Research and measurement: Research our sectors, competitors and audiences to shape what we say and where. Track performance using tools such as Google Analytics and LinkedIn analytics, and report what is working. Suggest improvements based on the results

Required skills:

Excellent written English: clear, accurate and well structured, with strong spelling and grammar

Ability to explain complex or technical ideas simply

A creative eye for layout and design, and the ability to turn text into visuals that are easy to read

Confidence with design tools such as Canva, PowerPoint or similar

Active use of social media, especially LinkedIn, and an understanding of how content performs there

Well organised, able to manage several pieces of work and meet deadlines

Willing to ask questions, take feedback and learn quickly

Desirable experience:

A portfolio of writing or design work, from study, personal projects or a previous role

Experience with a website content management system, such as WordPress

Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing tools or Google Analytics

Experience creating short videos or animations

Interest in technology, data or AI, and in public services such as housing and social care

Entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

* The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Benefits: Permanent staff are eligible for a pension and we also have an employee market place where the staff can get discounted offers in retail, well-being, etc.

Future prospects:

90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
