About the Role

The Marketing Assistant provides proactive support to the Marketing Team in delivering impactful initiatives that promote Allied Medical’s products, services, and brand. This role has a strong focus on events and education, requiring someone who is comfortable coordinating logistics, liaising with external event organisers, and using online meeting and event platforms.

We are looking for a positive, organised, and adaptable team player who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is willing to contribute wherever needed. While experience is beneficial, a willingness to learn, solve problems, and embrace new tools and technologies, including AI, is more important. The ideal candidate will be curious, resourceful, and motivated to continually improve how they work and create.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general marketing administration support, including managing the marketing inbox.
• Assist to coordinate internal and industry events, exhibitions, and online education sessions.
• Coordinate in-person and online education for both internal and external customers.
• Create, load and maintain content on the Allied Medical website.
• Support general office tasks such as meeting set-ups, catering, and uniform management.
• Build positive working relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers.
• Participate as a member of the Health and Safety Committee
• About You

We’re seeking someone who is proactive, organised, and genuinely customer-focused. You’ll enjoy working independently but also love collaborating as part of a team. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Customer-focused mindset.

Previous experience in administration and/or marketing support.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Great computer literacy (Microsoft Excel essential, Microsoft 365 preferred).

Exposure to Canva or Adobe Creative Suite an advantage.

Experience using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other online meeting platforms.

Exposure to e-commerce platforms – ideally Shopify.

A genuine interest in AI tools and a desire to learn more in this area.

A keen eye for detail, ability to multitask, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
