THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Marketing Specialist to join our Mining Domain team on a full-time, permanent basis in Mangere, Auckland.

Working closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing, Corporate Marketing Manager and wider business, you will translate sales and business priorities into engaging, measurable marketing activity that supports Rocklabs’ global portfolio of products and services.

This is a varied generalist marketing role spanning content creation, digital marketing, product marketing, sales enablement and campaign delivery across both direct and indirect sales channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain product marketing materials, including catalogues, brochures, digital assets and sales collateral.

Create engaging content for web, email and social media channels.

Manage the Rocklabs LinkedIn Showcase Page and coordinate the content calendar.

Maintain the Rocklabs agent portal, product information and digital asset library.

Support distributors and agents with effective marketing tools and resources.

Coordinate website updates and campaign content, ensuring information is current and SEO/GEO optimised.

Support digital marketing activity including paid search, paid social, display, SEO and SEM.

Monitor campaign and website performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and lead generation.

Support go-to-market activity for new product releases and manage key marketing timelines.

Coordinate photography, video, presentations and other marketing content as required.

Support trade shows and industry events, including PDAC.

Collaborate across sales, product and marketing teams to deliver business priorities.

TO BE A GREAT MATCH FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, graphic design or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar generalist marketing role.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads or similar platforms.

Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.

An understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and digital marketing best practices.

Strong written communication, project management and organisational skills.

The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to take ownership from planning through to delivery.
