Key Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and specifications to calculate angles, dimensions, and material requirements.
Mix mortar, cement, or grout, and clean or level work foundations before building.
Cut, shape, and lay bricks, natural/artificial stones, or concrete blocks using hand tools and power saws.
Check vertical and horizontal alignment with plumb lines and levels, then smooth, joint, or polish finished surfaces.
Demolish, patch, or relay damaged masonry on walls, chimneys, arches, and historic buildings.
Follow site safety protocols, manage scaffolding, and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Strong Physical fitness and attention to detail.
Key Requirements
- 1+ years of masonry experience preferred; experience with trowels, masonry hammers, levels, chisels, masonry saws, and concrete mixers.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy blocks or stones for extended periods.
- Hard working, motivated, flexible & ability to work well in a busy environment.
- Ability to work overtime/ weekends when needed.
- Ability to communicate in English language.
