About the Role
Join GV Health's Medical Workforce Unit and play a key role in supporting our medical workforce across the organisation. As the Medical Workforce Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive operational and employment support to junior and senior medical staff throughout their employment lifecycle. Working closely with the Medical Workforce Senior Coordinator and Manager Medical Workforce, you will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, rostering, compliance, locum management, and employee support services.
This dynamic and fast-paced role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be instrumental in ensuring medical workforce processes align with legislative requirements, enterprise agreements, accreditation standards, and best practice principles, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across GV Health.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in workforce coordination, recruitment, human resources, administration, rostering, or a similar operational role.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when managing employee records, compliance requirements, and workforce data.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with medical staff, managers, external agencies, and key stakeholders.
Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, awards, enterprise agreements, or legislative requirements.
Confidence working with workforce management, rostering, payroll, or HR information systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and fostering positive stakeholder experiences.
An understanding of the healthcare sector, medical workforce management, or medical staffing processes will be highly regarded.
