Providing oversight to the Utilization Management Program, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Behavioral Medical Director will perform peer reviews, interact with clinical professionals, and advise on healthcare system improvements while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

##### Key responsibilities

Ensuring delivery of cost-effective quality care that incorporates recovery, resiliency, and person-centered services

Overseeing utilization management protocols and Level of Care guidelines in collaboration with clinical staff

Maintaining clinical integrity through timely peer reviews, appeals, and consultations with providers and community-based clinicians

##### Required qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy

Current license to practice as a physician in Minnesota

Board certified in Psychiatry

Knowledge of post-acute care planning, including case management and disease management

Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
