Responsibilities

Diagnose issues with mobile phones and tablets using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical knowledge.

Repair or replace faulty components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal hardware parts.

Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble devices with precision.

Perform maintenance on devices to prevent future issues and extend their lifespan.

Troubleshoot related hardware problems involving computer hardware, networking, or peripheral devices when applicable.

Follow detailed repair procedures and document all work performed accurately in the repair logs.

Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge of electronic devices, particularly mobile phones and tablets.

Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, prying tools, tweezers, and soldering equipment.

Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic computer repair techniques.

Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues.

Knowledge of computer networking concepts relevant to device connectivity and troubleshooting.

Strong maintenance skills for ongoing device care and preventative repairs.

Prior experience in equipment repair or electronics repair is highly desirable.

Pay: £28,420.00-£32,570.63 per year
