\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n The Opportunity:\r\n\r\nThe Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Supervisor for Lagimodiere is responsible for all activities associated with the effective and efficient operation of the MRO Spare Parts Storeroom. Reporting to the Reliability Leader, this role has overall responsibility for the management of inventory levels, purchasing practices, and warehouse operations. They are responsible from demand to fulfillment of spare parts for use by maintenance or operations.\r\n \r\n\r\nAny MLF team member interested in being considered for this role are encouraged to apply online by September 28. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExecution of MRO planning and management best practices in day to day operations\r\n\tManage purchasing of maintenance related spare parts inventory, consumables and services\r\n\tManage sourcing and development of alternative suppliers\r\n\tManage vendor relationship including performance\r\n\tManage spare parts replenishment criteria to ensure “right sized” inventory\r\n\tManage spare parts movements to maximize transparency and financial accuracy and minimize inventory cycle count deficiencies\r\n\tDrive cost reduction activities\r\n\tProvide oversight, guidance, training and support to staff\r\n\tManage, coach and mentor storekeepers, purchasers, receivers, coordinators\r\n\tManage new part creation and extension requests\r\n\tResponsible to ensure all corporate standards are followed in the execution of storeroom activities\r\n\tOversee the development of plant specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)\r\n\tResponsible for analyzing and reporting MRO metrics to plant and corporate leadership as required\r\n\tShall demonstrate full commitment to the implementation of the requirements of the Global Standard for Food Safety and to processes which facilitate continual improvement of food safety and quality management\r\n\tEnsure qualified resources complete MRO spares management work activities in a safe, efficient, and effective manner\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You’ll Bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t3 – 5 years’ experience in an MRO purchasing, MRO inventory, or maintenance management role in a manufacturing facility. Food manufacturing an asset\r\n\tCollege Diploma in purchasing/inventory management\r\n\tCertification in supply chain or procurement management\r\n\tStrong and effective negotiation skills\r\n\tStrong and effective personnel management skills (work assignment, coaching, mentoring, etc.)\r\n\tAbility to delegate, collaborate, and resolve conflict\r\n\tStrong team building and motivating skills\r\n\tAbility to develop team competencies\r\n\tStrong knowledge of MRO parts and warehouse management\r\n\tExperienced in ERP/MRP systems.
