National Account Manager

With operations throughout Australia, New Zealand and internationally, we provide reliable power solutions across the automotive, industrial, motive power, standby power and energy storage sectors.

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join us. This is a key role responsible for managing and growing strategic national customers while identifying new business opportunities and providing technically sound battery and charger solutions.

About the role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic national key accounts.

Identifying and securing new national business opportunities.

Building strong relationships with key decision makers.

Conducting quarterly business reviews and annual strategic planning meetings.

Providing technical advice on industrial batteries, chargers and power storage solutions.

Assessing customer applications and recommending suitable battery and charger solutions.

Working closely with Technical, Operations and Customer Service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Supporting tenders, product specifications and major project opportunities.

Achieving sales, revenue and profitability targets.

Essential

Current Australian Driver Licence.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have

• Experience managing major or national key accounts.
• Experience within the industrial battery, electrical, power equipment or related technical industry.
• Sound knowledge of industrial battery technologies and their applications.
• Basic understanding of battery charging principles and charging algorithms.
• Experience selling technical products or engineered solutions.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand customer applications and recommend practical technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel nationally as required.
