Job Description
To support the healthcare needs of veterans and military beneficiaries, the part-time remote Nevada Licensed Medical Director will provide clinical guidance across multiple medical management domains, lead quality initiatives, and collaborate with various teams to enhance care delivery.
##### Key responsibilities
Provide program-wide clinical guidance in Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality, and Public Health
Lead quality committees and participate in collaborative safety initiatives
Review member cases for appropriateness and quality of care, documenting findings in health systems
##### Required qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school
Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
Board certification or board eligibility through a recognized specialty board
Minimum of 5 years of medical practice experience
3+ years of experience in managed care environments
