Nurse or Paramedic - Larne STHF - Bank

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Professional to join our team at the Residential Short-Term Holding Facility in Larne. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a unique environment, supporting the health, wellbeing and clinical needs of a diverse resident population.

The Role

You will play a vital role in maintaining and promoting the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring that medical needs are identified, assessed and appropriately managed. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate, timely clinical records using computerised healthcare systems.

Essential Experience

To be considered, you must have

• A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing healthcare role
• Experience in one or more of the following settings:
• + Accident & Emergency (A&E)
• + Emergency Medicine
• + Acute Medicine
• + General Practice
• + Prison Healthcare
• + Ambulance Service
• The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, assessment and record-keeping skills
• Professional Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria

• Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) or RMN with dual registration (minimum Band 5 equivalent)
• OR
• Qualified Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Compliance Requirements

Successful candidates must

• Have full Right to Work in the UK
• Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3+ years
• Hold a British Passport or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
• Have no overseas absences exceeding 3 months during the qualifying period
• Be able to pass CTC Vetting and Northern Ireland security clearance requirements
