Operations Supervisor – Honey Production
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to join our honey manufacturing team.
The role is responsible for overseeing daily production, managing bulk honey, maintaining quality standards and supervising the production team.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
Oversee daily honey production and supervise the production team.
Coordinate production to meet schedules, quality and customer requirements.
Ensure production complies with RMP, food safety and company standards.
Identify production issues and improve efficiency and processes.
Bulk Honey Management
Manage the receiving, storage, handling and use of bulk honey.
Ensure correct honey type, batch, storage and traceability.
Monitor bulk honey stock and support regular stocktakes.
Conduct or coordinate required honey testing.
Identify and address quality or traceability issues.
Quality Control & Administration
Ensure honey meets required quality and specification standards.
Follow and maintain food safety and quality-control procedures.
Maintain accurate production, quality, stock and traceability records.
Identify and manage quality issues and non-conforming products.
What We're Looking For
Food Science, Food Technology or a related qualification.
Around 3 years' experience in food, health supplement or similar manufacturing.
Experience supervising production staff or coordinating manufacturing operations.
Understanding of food safety, HACCP, GMP and RMP.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Full New Zealand driver's licence required.
Forklift licence preferred; training can be provided and the successful candidate can obtain the licence after starting.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
