Organisational Development Specialist

Fixed-term parental cover to March 2028

We are looking for an experienced Organisational Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term parental cover contract through to March 2028.

You will start by leading the development and implementation of a Group-wide competency framework, ensuring it is practical, relevant and embedded across performance, talent, succession, recruitment and learning processes. You will also support wider organisational development initiatives that strengthen leadership, engagement and capability across Yili Oceania.

About the role

Reporting to the Group Organisational Development Manager, this hands-on role will support the delivery of practical OD projects across Westland Milk Products and the wider Yili Oceania group, including Oceania Dairy, EasiYo, Canary Foods and Pure Nutrition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Yili Oceania graduate programme, supporting a consistent, engaging experience for graduates and the leaders who guide them.
• Lead the development, testing and implementation of a Group-wide competency framework.
• Embed capability expectations into performance, talent, succession, recruitment and learning processes.
• Design and deliver practical learning resources, workshops and leader sessions.
• Support leadership development, performance review and engagement initiatives that build capability and connection across the group.
• Manage OD projects from planning through to implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
• About you

You will bring strong OD, learning and development, or HR capability, with the confidence to work across a broad stakeholder group in a practical, fast-moving environment.

To be successful, you will ideally bring

• Experience in Organisational Development, Learning and Development, HR Business Partnering or a related role.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to implementation.
• Exposure to capability, leadership, performance, talent or competency frameworks.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• * Experience in a manufacturing, operational or multi-site environment would be an advantage.
