An opportunity has opened to join the Mainfreight Transport Ashburton family as a Class 2 Owner Driver servicing our local region. The role will require someone with a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude with the opportunity to progress amongst the Mainfreight group.

Day to day responsibilities:
Hubbing freight via our first class facilities, with our expert operations teams
Safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight.
Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight, on time and damage free
Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition
Delight our customers every day
Role requirements:
A current and full Class 2 license
Transport service Licence (TSL)
A forklift and Dangerous goods license
Appropriate finance with the ability to purchase a brand new vehicle
Excellent communication and immaculate personal presentation
We can provide training in regard to other requirements should you be the right candidate.
