Job Title: Painter

Employer: Laochra Beaga LTD

Location: Several locations across Co. Cork according to the clients.

Salary: €46,644 per year

Hours: 39 hrs/wk

Responsibilities

• Application of specialist coating by brush and spray.
• Surface preparation by various means.
• Grit blasting.
• Decorating painting, drawings and textures as per job specification.
• Maintaining painting of interior and exterior spaces.
• Repainting internal walls, doors and woodwork as required.
• Preparing all work areas by covering surfaces with protective materials.
• Using putty, caulk, plaster and other fillers to fill cracks and holes as required.
• Mixing and matching paint colours, stain, or varnish.
• Monitoring and maintaining presentation standards.
• Performing general maintenance and painting repairs internally and externally.

Requirements

• Experience as a painter, or relevant qualification in the area is desirable
• Good knowledge of English is preferrable.
• Completed Health and Safety training would be an advantage.
• Have knowledge of painting tools, equipment and colours is preferrable.
