What we are looking for:

Are you a Parts and Service Advisor with a passion for the trucking industry? Join our dynamic team at Truck Tech Solutions in Silverdale, Auckland, and play a vital role in supporting our technicians and clients to keep their vehicle in top-notch condition to keep their wheels turning.

We work on a variety of makes and models of vehicles, along with being an authorised ISUZUTruck parts and service centre.

The role :

Manage customer bookings for servicing, repairs and warranty work. Prepare repair orders and workshop job cards, assist with warranty claims processes.

Identify and order parts for workshop jobs by coordinating parts required with technicians.

Manage all parts orders and backorders, Receive and check incoming parts. Maintain accurate parts inventory.

Forward planning - daily checking stock requirements for next day's bookings.

Ensuring parts are ordered with suppliers meeting timeframes for daily deliveries. Arranging Courier / Freight for urgent parts.

Cross referencing & checking all job cards for parts and data prior to invoicing.

Proactively managing parts costs ensuring best pricing is achieved to include carrying out pricing comparison with other suppliers.

Labelling, organising all inventory by maintain an organized and efficient parts department.

Keeping stock up to date and considering future requirements. Monthly stock takes & investigating large discrepancies.

Ensuring returns are sent back to suppliers within 24 hrs.

The successful applicant will :

Enjoy welcoming customers and understand their vehicle requirements, its important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and that you keeping customers informed throughout the repair process.

Have high attention to detail, accuracy, plus organisational and time management skills are important in this role.

Confident dealing with customers by phone, email and face-to-face. Able to manage multiple enquiries and priorities effectively.

Comfortable learning technical product information and new systems with a practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to help across the wider team
