Paving Operator/Labourer - Penrose

The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa

Joining our Transport and Infrastructure business, as a Paving Crew Member, you’ll support our Penrose-based crew in the delivery of exciting ongoing assignments across the Auckland region.

You will be tasked with undertaking a range of Paving activities from surfacing roads and carparks, to paving footpaths. You will be given the opportunity to learn to operate a range of plant on our sites and be expected to pick up labouring duties when required.

If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your days outdoors and, on your feet, this could be the position for you.

Required

With some experience operating in a crew environment, you will be confident operating within a team and independently as required. You will be comfortable using hand tools to get the job done. You’ll also:

Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fit

Have experience in asphalt, particularly with Roller Operators (a must)

Be reliable and hard working

Have a positive 'can do' attitude

Show commitment to safe work practises

Have a Class 2 license with WTR endorsement (preferable)
