Payroll Accountant

As a Payroll Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. Accurately and timely process employee payroll on a regular basis.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Maintain and update employee payroll records and information.

Monitor and track employee time off, overtime, and other payroll-related data.

Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and complete employee information for payroll processing.

Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing.

Calculate and process any necessary adjustments or corrections to employee pay.

Prepare and distribute employee paychecks or direct deposits.

Generate payroll reports and maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.

Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets related to payroll.

Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll inquiries or concerns.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Collaborate with team members to streamline and improve payroll processes.

Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.

Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed.
