- Main duties of the job
- Deliver Diabetes reviews and ongoing management (this is essential for this position).
- Provide patient education and lifestyle advice,
- Monitor and optimise diabetes treatment in line with national guidelines.
- Undertake Chronic Disease management clinics.
- Administer vaccines and immunisations.
- Perform cervical screening, wound care and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement initiaves.
- Overview of organisation
- Marisco Medical Practice is a friendly, welcoming GP practice situated in the popular seaside of Mablethorpe and branch site at Sutton-on- Sea.
- Our multidisiplinary team consists of GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates, Healthcare Assistants, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Practitioners and an excellent administrative and reception team.
- If you are an enthusiastic Practice Nurse and have a Diploma in Diabetes we would love to hear from you.
- Pay: From £17.80 per hour
- Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
