Principal SDET / QA Automation Lead – .NET (C#, Selenium)

Our challenge

We are seeking a Senior SDET / QA Automation Lead with strong .NET development experience to support enterprise application testing and automation for a leading financial services client.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation frameworks, .NET technologies, and quality engineering practices, with the ability to lead automation initiatives and improve overall testing efficiency across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

• * Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using .NET technologies.
• Develop automated test scripts for APIs, web applications, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Lead QA automation strategy and implement best practices in test automation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor QA engineers and drive automation adoption across teams.
• Participate in code reviews, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.

Required Skill

• 15+ years of experience in QA / SDET roles
• Strong experience with .NET / C# development
• Experience building test automation frameworks
• Expertise in tools such as:
• Selenium
• Playwright or Cypress
• SpecFlow
• NUnit / MSTest
• Strong API testing experience (REST / SOAP)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter / LoadRunner)
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
